I’ve been cooking since I was a young teenager. My dear Mama taught me to cook in between her job and bedtime. I have successfully passed muster with her, and that I have passed along her cooking and budgeting wisdom to my children.

Along the way, I’ve learned new things - new methods, ingredients, ways of using gadgets, nutrition information, and much more. After all, forty years in the kitchen has taught me a lot.

Having five children has also taught me to be budget minded with groceries and how to stretch the grocery dollar to it’s limits.
